Tissue Paper Collage Workshop

This is a workshop on making luminous colorful stained tissue paper for collage. We’ll explore which materials and methods work the best, how to vary the value and intensity of your colors, and then a few other techniques for developing design and pattern on your tissue papers. Then I will demonstrate collage techniques that make the most of the beautiful material you have created.
You will be working along with me during the first part of this Zoom workshop, staining tissue papers of your own. If your papers are dry enough, you can also work along with the collage demo, but if not, you can review the video later. You will receive the short and sweet supply list once you purchase the product.

White tissue paper
Optional: deli paper, wet strength tissue paper
Fluid Acrylic paints (Golden, or other high quality brand, small amounts)
High Flow Acrylic paints (optional)
High Flow Medium (Golden)
Sponge brushes or other soft brushes
Fluid Matte Medium (optional)
Disposable Palette, 12”x16” OR sheets of freezer paper
Soft rubber brayer, 2” or similar
Hair dryer
